Born Out Of A Love For Flight
High Speed Aviation Flying Club was born from a vision: to share the freedom, adventure, and joy of flight with others. Founded by two passionate pilots who knew their aircraft were meant for more than sitting idle, the club was created to open the skies to those who dream of flying.
At the heart of the club is a wealth of knowledge and experience that shapes everything we do. Decades of professional flying and leadership in both civilian and military aviation are brought together to provide members with guidance, mentorship, and a standard of safety and professionalism that few clubs can match.

Meet The Team
Thomas Gasparolo, FRAeS
Founder, President
Leading the way at High Speed Aviation is our co-founder, Thomas Gasparolo — a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society (FRAeS) and an Army veteran aviator with a lifetime devoted to flight. With over 27,000 total flight hours, including nearly 5,000 hours in both military and civilian helicopters, Tom’s experience spans a remarkable range of aircraft and operations.
Over the course of his career, Tom logged approximately 18,000 hours as a commercial jetliner captain with Southwest Airlines, and previously flew with Carnival Airlines and Amerijet International. He also attained his Helicopter Airline Transport Pilot certification, a testament to his advanced skill, professionalism, and dedication to safety.
Beyond his personal achievements, aviation is a family legacy — Tom’s sons have followed in his footsteps, continuing a proud tradition of excellence, discipline, and love for the skies.
At High Speed Aviation, Tom’s leadership reflects not only his deep professional expertise but also his passion for sharing knowledge and fostering a supportive flying community. Through mentorship, integrity, and enthusiasm, he helps ensure that every member gains more than access to aircraft — they become part of a legacy built on experience, safety, and the enduring joy of flight.
Marc Arcand
Co-Founder, CAO, Manager
Marc brings a lifetime of passion, experience, and innovation to High Speed Aviation. With a few thousand hours of flying experience, he has spent decades immersed in every corner of aviation.
Early in his career, Marc rebuilt wrecked aircraft and even designed and built experimental homebuilts — a true hands-on aviator with a deep understanding of what makes airplanes fly their best.
Beyond the hangar, Marc founded and led a company that grew to over 600 employees, giving him the leadership skills and vision that he now brings to the club. Today, retired from business but still driven by a love of aviation, Marc is proud to be a co-founder of High Speed Aviation Flying Club.
Kris D

A newly certified private pilot, Kris’s passion for aviation is matched by a dedication to excellence. With a strong background in management and a career as a nutritionist, she brings discipline, organization, and a commitment to high standards into the cockpit.
No stranger to hard work, she has been dedicated to achieving ambitious goals from a young age, competing at the national level in sports and learning the value of persistence and precision. That same determination now drives her aviation journey, as she sets her sights on earning an Instrument Rating to expand her flying capabilities.
Kris’s dedication and enthusiasm make her not only a skilled aviator in training but also a valued member of the High Speed Aviation Flying Club community.
